Welcome to the Fire Stables, the award winning gastro pub, just off the High Street in Wimbledon Village. Whether it's a quick bite to eat, fine dining or just drinks by the fire, you can be sure that The Fire Stables is a perfect choice as a cosy local with warm and attentive service, a seasonal menu of traditional British dishes, and an extensive selection of beers, wines and whiskies.
We opened in 2000 and quickly established a firm reputation in Wimbledon Village. Not only did we win the award for best Gastro Pub category in the Time Out Eating / Drinking Awards in 2001, but we continued to be recognized for our great food and hospitality.
Our Sunday roast is just how a perfect roast should be: Fluffy goose fat roasted potatoes, delicious thick real made gravy, fabulously tender British beef, and a Yorkshire pudding… well, that a Yorkshire man would be proud of! Grab a pew (literally!), take a load off, relax in our haven and watch the world go by
